Primary Science™ Jumbo Test Tubes with Stand

These chunky, durable test tubes put serious science safely within reach for young students. The tubes feature calibration marks (25, 50, 75 and 100 ml). It encourages inquiry-based investigation and hands-on observation.

The colourful design will engage every student in your classroom! The tubes come supplied with different coloured lids. The lids are write on/wipe off, which makes it easy to label the different test tubes and to keep track of your experiments. They are temperature safe from -10° to 95° and are suitable for hand wash.

The jumbo test tubes come with an activity guide. Combine water with different materials, like sand, vegetable oil, soap, food colouring, sugar and rocks or pebbles. What do they think will happen? And what will happen after shaking the test tubes for 30 seconds (make sure the lids are tightened!)?

Or perform a colour mixing experiment. Use food colouring to change the colour of water to red, yellow and blue. What happens if you mix the yellow water with the blue water? Can they create new colours?

These durable test tubes are extremely easy to use by preschoolers, due to their chunky size.
